Ioanna was a PhD candidate on the Digital Twin research programme. Her research focused on developing automated hybrid model selection based on the minimum description length principle (MDL).

She obtained her Integrated Master’s diploma in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Ioannina, Greece, where she was born and raised. Ioanna finds a particular interest in explanatory data mining, ethical machine learning, statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
